Jeff, it doesn't work any more. It's based on the same broken hack. Stuff like this "tool" (which massively abuses Google's services) is what forces Google to change stuff up on us."

California SEO Expert says:

We are fighting a giant. Where we used to self "perceive" helping the engines provide a service; it now feels like we are battling them. For those of us that work with real companies with real families to support; it always felt like a "righteous" idealism to promote websites that were not evil using good content additions and human interaction elements. Now it just seems to be a job...and worse yet a chore!

Without to much paranoia - it is scary that Google/Utube and CNN are feeding societies minds with their own hand picked vblog entries to emphasis their own idealisms.

BTW - maybe a good idea if the public image "no evil" is true from shareholder to stockholder to societies liquid web surfers. Google is providing a great service, most of us would crumble without the massive index of information when we are stuck on a project or personal need.

With Archie Bunker was the king of the commode and Florence Henderson always stood here ground. At the time I did know she was black as I was raised with a clear mind and good intentions that have served me well and helped my children come along as upstanding social citizens that contribute to the noise in the front yard NOT the sound of electronic equipment. Remember to play with your kids. Give them that toy you know will require an extra 15 minutes to set up and endless questions. Only to be thrown in the shed and forgotten. Children's musing are just that, a childs way of making birds fly backwards & building blocks rise and fall. Then discarded subliminal messages are an unfair advantage over the search engine markting optimization community.

A wise man Stephen Kane (Irvine, CA) once told me. An idea is ONLY worth a dollar, but implementing the idea is worth millions (or Gillions in Googles case). With online business devekopment the their is very little barrier to entry. This creates the need for more business secrecy, competitive intelligence and possible people who see the dark side to game the engines. Ultimately, it is not the Search Engine that suffers when you are spamming blogging, buying fake traffic credit, bloating your meta data and other items to garner higher rankings.

I see a terrible trend with the new wave media. We need to be corporately responsible and encourage our website clients not to over stimulate our youth or society... As it is my kids are miserable unless I have my wallet out at some event. What happened to the days of "go play"? My parents keyword for: "scram" I could care less if I did not see you till dinner. (you knew they cared, but got the point). On these "go play" occasions I went on an adventure. Either in my mind or an actual trip to the unknown consisting of riding my bike until I had gone where no kid on my block had gone and return to tell about it. This created a kid that did not want to be in front of the TV. I knew how it worked... I called it the idiot box before my parents had the chance. You plug it in and someone else decides what you see. At some point we search engine optimizers are the "TV" and have some power to keep the Internet for knowledge that is desired... not forced on you.

So with that TV Media historical mind set:

I have not watched TV since the birth of my third child... I mean a movie here or a new program; never a regular to the media on-slough that is delivered daily to your mind.

ASK.com is coming hard in the search engine war! Yes the search engine war. The cease fire is over publicly but rages on behind closed doors looking for self preservation.

Is ASK.com corporately responsible as a search engine to our children and childrens children?

Billboards saying “The Uni-bomber hates the algorithm” I have still yet to look it up. I am sure it is a keyword play on an easy to remember phrase that ask.com already ranks for in Google.

Subliminal messages on TV commercials NOT related to the commercial
Pondering - socially excepted violiation of corporate responsibility terms of service (TOS)

I think that A&W releasing the commerical right before 4th of July when all the executives at McCDonalds Corp are on break was much "classier". The commercial from A&W was about how all McDondalds BEEF was from Australia...GENIUS simple genius sneak attack,.. everyone is out of the office for the holiday at MCDonalds... I will bet you that somewhere at A&W Rootbeer Corporate there is a new corner office with a new top marketer, polishing his shine, due to record sales for the 4th of July. Ask.com should be looking to polish their shine the old fashion way. Subliminal messages, they have to stop with the @ the 1am run to Del Taco that seems to keep occurring latelty. I can not get out of bed in the middle of the night to go search ASK.com due to sensationalism in the media. Have they tested this? Will it have perment effects on our pill popping out of wack libido's? If it works will they support the release of high end subliminal messages to stay in school or not abuse drugs?

Anyway back to ask.com they have these billboards.
- now these I like. "The uni-bomber does not like the algorythm."

i was sitting with my sole mate in Hollywood, California. We has been on Rodeo Drive all day and had stopped at a car dealership on the way home to see a new model of car she was eyeing. I was sitting there and looked in the review mirror and there is this sign (backwards) The uni-bomber does not like the alogorytm! I was shocked and sent right back to my online business developer mentality searching for the use of this marketing idea? Hmm. Make up a question. Then be the only one with the answer. Yes I am sure that has been done but not so publically due to the internet and accepted so far I think.

Then on the Television network channel that has the math tv program...(two brothers a cop and math professor)... so this tv station has this “did you see it” meaning the answer that was just given. I had seen it. But was now programmed to try harder the next time I saw that type of commercial... like pavloves dog I would be ready. They are actually programming people to watch TV FASTER as if the damage done to the logical usage of your brain was not damaged enough my sensationalism in the first place. So when you see this one type of TV commercial come on.... you know ok... I am the man when it comes to photographic memory. So you can imagine my astonishment at what I saw the in speeding images and will not ruin it for you. Oh - ok. It was the ask.com logo. Now was it an ink blot that was tested to have that effect on optimizers or pure overlap of images. To uncanny to let go of due to the billboard and a few other items that I can not release at this time.
Did I imagine this due to sleep deprivation and massive pressure to excell at all cost or is ASK.com taking a stance against the might math riddled Google giant with subliminal messages to our evening TV watchers and demographic?

The TV stations "feel" like they radio and look at Google like they are the Mtv of the 80's when they shattered the music scene and never left. Just fizzled out. Do you know why? TO MUCH SNESATION AND OVER STRETCH TO PLEASE ALL. I have not been paying attention; but if MTv was smart they would start creating targeted thematic channels on the Internet. Much the way the Orange County Register are taking their younger or faster generation online with blogs and forumns.

“TV killed the radio star” well it is now “Google killed the TV Star”. I am seeing hard evidence that ask.com is playing at a higher level then google may think. Google is mathmetical but is it is able to use its artificial intelligence against ask.com that seem to have added a "eery" humanality to information retreival.

I have cracked the HOLY SEO Mystery.... and in the historic public image of "loosening the corporate tie with global social googlization" here is the start of a great deal of knowledge that started my mecca in 2003. In the past people kept their ideas secret. Sometimes dying with them causing a total "rebirth" of society. Personal Thanks Always!

I on the other hand am WEB 2.0 ready thanks to the neon surf fish taco special ready to push my mind limits to the max. (did i meantion i met the mind freak at luxor. would did not speak... i was eyein his watch and he was eyeing my tattoos. Neither of us noticed each others hottie chick... It was weird... does one mind freak know another when they pass each other? have I watched to much TV????? oh yeah, 16 hours days time 6days a week. NAW not too much TV that would be the SEO children sitting around waiting for the once a week repreive from the marketing pressure google has brought to the world.

Lucky Google made ammends finally and started releasing the gateway to GOOGLELAND with google webmaster tools to stop people from getting burning on fly by night providers of everything. this was a huge step.

here is the ramblins, pick them up here.. i am going to release and then create. My blooger friend does this because he is a dumb blogger. I am doing it as a test. A reverse SEO Blogin modality. thanks for stirring up my WERK, JERK!!

1 I am Google.

2 I have a three problems:

Time, Money and Information Retrieval IR.

Google the lucky bastards that they are find a website with a beach. The beach has a Gold Lamp, hell why not I know better from history that this is the work of the devil.... But I am the ever Cockey Googlebot. I will give it a ping and she what happens.

Out comes the geni and grants three wishes. Here is the answer to the problem:

Yes, how google works

Has not had a laughing effect on my life. Google's pilgramage to the top... has left some ahead and some behind. I have gotten both from Google and Life. And I think both life and Google have brought be to my rightful place.

Over the next couple of days I will be deciding what to do with my research for Online Business Development. The initial plan is to work with Darin McClure at http://www.Webconsuls.com to publicly release my data and my concepts nutured from the following relationships:

first and foremost:

Dennis Helfand - webconsuls.com

Jill Whalen - High Rankings.com "engine optimization deos not change, the engines do and we model ourselves to what they do" in a compariative sense... in contextual detail: Black Hat SEO vs engine optimization.

Bruce Clay - BruceClay.com "your conversions come from the skewed data sets" not a quote changed to fudge the true SEOWOW.

Gerry Grant - search-optimization.com ... forth coming...

Eric Darby - Darby Works and Paid Marketing Genius and Marketing Educator for the 21st century (2 thumbs up)

http://www.webscience.com Tell me Maurice - how many years have you been ahead of the crowd by remembering it is only F'in Technolgy. We are masters at everything we touch due to passion, pride and honesty (five years and five stars baby!!!! Can you put this in HD for me....? in trade for ad space?

Darin "neon_surfer" McClure - again it is only technology. We are smarter than the artificial attempts... or at least we should be... Darin is for sure smarter than AR.

So many more... but that is enough putting the horse before the @@#$$% cart

Notes to self:

Is this valuable?
Is it market able?

Do I sell out and get my life back?

or

Do I keep doing what I like and rough it as the gap between the haves and have nots translates to the "understanders and the DO NOT understanders"?

Most firefox users I know still use MS products such as outlook, excel and word. If you are to get any updates, upgrades or any other features you must use IE.

It will be interesting to see how this effects the SEO community. Many of which use the FF browser exclusively for their daily operations. This will cause them grief when they have to revert to a "self" abondonded browsers.

As an SEO Expert if you are providing search engine optimization services and are not using IE you will soon be forced to do so for all engine traffic. I personally use both browsers equally as we do cross browser testing on all of our enhancements.

here is the notice that I have seen twice in the last 36 hours. Leave your thoughts... if they are appropriate.

How an SEO Expert Marketing Specialist - Knows Googlebot is Tired of Scanning the Cache?

I figure that the obvious sign would be the "bot" warning.

But then Googlebot seems to have a nice trick, unless I am missing something. You can see from the added screen shot I entered the "bot / harvester" code. Google over looked the need for a submit button here. I try to hit enter on the keyboard to no avail.

Now that I think about it - I get this warning more during the day most times; maybe a power outage at google (here in CALIFORNIA - brownouts are when they shut the power grids down to a trickle... I wonder if they are marketing specialists doing steady one off SEO research search queries. Once you use up your 25-50 KW searches, cache review and other "hacks" it appears to shut you out until refresh... drop me a line if you are seeing this too.

The answer depends on:

What is the importance of the page you are moving?

How old is the page and what is its "popularity" score?

Are you doing multivariate web page testing?

In finding the answer those top three questions I can probe into the desired outcome. Then as an Internet Marketing Consultant base answers on how the engines handle the redirects.

If I were an engine - or a googlebot programmer (in my dreams) I would use the following logic set to solve the question of "How do I handle redirects 301 redirect or 302 redirect?"

What happens is the engines see 302 as mail forwarding or vacation setting, please standby to see if we survive our trip. If we do not come back... just put our stuff in the supplemental index to re-vive when we are ready.

What happens is the engines see 301 as a perm move... [the house] [the people] ALL GONE and NOT COMING BACK.
As a .NET Programmer / HTML Coder / Web Hosting Company you must see that the two scenarios above SIGNIFY two different logic applications required for functions that ensue.

If I were Googlebot I would say the 302 is a holiday, vacation, maintenance, setting and Googlebot should –

· Notate the uniform resource identifier (URI)
· Set a reminder to come back and check the status of the resource

If I were Googlebot I would say the 301 is a businesses closed sign (early checkout) and the URL (room) should be CLEANED from the data centers.

ACTION:

Collect Data Set in its entirety (age, rank, backlinks, etc)
Transfer data set to new master record (URI)
Purge / Delete URI from indices.
Add URI in the next update – meaning EIGHT WEEKS!!

Make sure your hosting company knows the difference between a 301 redirect and a 302 redirect. When your server admin has completed the redirect check the server status of the URI to make sure it is what you wanted. When you check your 301 or 302 - most times the admin is setting all redirects as one. One way and one way only; so you get it right some of the time. To achieve higher rank for my website marketing clients you need to make sure that your server and technology company are in tune with the latest implementations. Southern California Web Site Development & Hosting Company

It is very important that you tell the engines what you are talking about. Many times it is easy for a person that is close to an industry to use those terms as though they are regular laymens English.

We find that many times clients swear that they have to rank for a certain term. That this is the only term that will bring them revenue and success. Many times they are 60-80% correct. Although many times we can find a few sweet gems or "low lying fruit" that no one has thought to go after.

We have found that you should use /dir/ instead of trying to follow the slash or hyphens implementation for file names. If you look at DMOZ or some of the older human edited directories you will find that they do not mess with dashes and hyphens. The only speration is by /dir/ structure.

It is my finding:

You should be segementing your traffic creating granular pockets of thematically arranged data for the spiders to feed and depend on for excellent up to date information about your offering.

Any @import rules must precede all rule sets in a style sheet. The '@import' keyword must be followed by the URI of the style sheet to include. A string is also allowed; it will be interpreted as if it had url(...) around it.

Example(s):

The following lines are equivalent in meaning and illustrate both '@import' syntaxes (one with "url()" and one with a bare string):

@import "mystyle.css";

@import url("mystyle.css");

So that user agents can avoid retrieving resources for unsupported media types, authors may specify media-dependent @import rules. You must start my fixing all the things that are not native to Dreamweaver. Using the dreamweaver tool bar: Click on Commands and sample some of the tools under that drop down. Depending on what WYSIWYG editor was used to build your pages you will have some FAST clean up results here.

From there go after the top 508 compliance issues:

- fill empty alt attributes (no stuffing...)
- CLOSE all tags. you can not have any open tags in XHMTL.

Additionally:
Empty tags are not allowed in XHTML. The
 and
tags should be replaced with the trailing slashes;
and
.

This should get you down to where you have only one page of validation errors; instead of ten. Maybe you can live with that knowing that your validation will go away the first time an image is missing an alt attribute on a product update request or bio update request.

So you are doing well with your website. The site is newly build, professional edited copy and 80 hours of search engine optimization. BUT you can not find your website for terms normally ranked well.

What was discovered during the SEO Analysis Case Study:

A section of text got used in a template or dynamic area writing that same paragraph to the entire site. The engines can interpret this as very similar content. When Google decides you have similar content they take one page that is MOST relevant due to human interaction scores.

So... you ask: "What happened to the rest of my pages?" You are NOT running on all 8 cylinders !! Your pages have gone to the BONE YARD - google supplemental results

Back at blogger... it was extremely hard the first time I set up my first blogger.com account when google first bought Blogger.

the second time was in a futal attempt to stay in touch with my family - easy set up. Struggled for a long time trying to customize it.

This time. Well, I hope that three times is the trick. There are a few demographics that this blog will be helpful for... mainly those looking to do it themselves. Or those too busy to do it themselves paying someone else who want to keep a pulse on the industry and stay ahead of the crowd.

There are people, businesses and companies that can benefit from Web by JASE's Online business Development Methodologies. We encourage you to look around and contact us for anything related to business. if we do not do it... someone in our network does.
