The current plan is for the girls to practice Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. This will be a long week for the girls but with losing a week of practice right before the big competition it will be necessary to pull it all together.

***Mondays practice is from 5 pm to 7:45 pm ******

I received the following email from the HBPWF President:

All fields at Edison High School are closed through Monday by a directive from the superintendent.
Therefore there is no practice at Edison High School until next week.
I am in the process of attempting to schedule a practice field for theplayoff football teams and the cheerleaders.

There is an OEC commissioner's meeting tonight to determine if the theplayoff games will be played this Sunday.

Due to air quality issues, practice has been cancelled for Thursday, October 25th

Due to air quality issues, all games scheduled within OEC for this Saturday, October 27th, are cancelled.The following is as of today and is subject to change:Playoff games scheduled for October 27th, are rescheduled to Sunday, October 28th at their regular time.Depending on field availability, the location of the playoff games may or may not change.Regular season games that were scheduled for Saturday, October 27th will be played on Saturday, November 10th.

Message was sent by our HBPWF President:

The league will allow a limited practice tonight.

Though there is not a significant improvement in air quality, the weather report is for an onshore flow to begin this afternoon or evening.

It is recommended that you limit exertion.

If it is warm, give extra water breaks.

Rob Mase, Athletic Director, will be at the fields at 5:30PM if you have any questions.

Any child who does not want to practice due to asthma or a related condition should be excused without penalty.

TWO FUNDRAISERS

Participation is mandatory to share in funds raised for Las Vegas. See Cheer Moms for details.

1. Yard Sale:
   One-day, 4 locations. Date to be announced. Let cheer Moms know if you are willing to have a yard sale at your house.
   
   
2. Helen Grace Candy Sale:
   Student demonstrators will be at 4 different locations (tbd) to supervise cheerleaders in candy sales.

2. Las Vegas competition
3. Football play-off games for the boys
4. Fundraising and collecting dinner money for those who have a remaining balance due

Meeting will start at 5:30, when the girls are practicing.

Reminder.....If you want to pre orders OEC Competition tickets, you need to turn in the order form to me tonight!

Attention We have dinner night:

1. October 3rd
2. October 10th
3. October 24th.

The girls will need to bring $5.00 to practice every Tuesday night or you can pay $15.00 upfront. The dinners are a fundraiser to pay for the girls end of season dinner banquet with the football players.

Those who still owe from previous dinner, please see Linda or Evelyn.
